We were warmly greeted by Mrs. Fontyn. Her son showed us our room and was very helpful.

The Fontyns were so helpful and friendly. Mrs. Fontyn had home baked cookies waiting in our room! When she asked if we enjoyed them, we told her we did so she refilled the container!

Very friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts. We were very early but able to leave our bags at the accommodation.

Wi Fi in room did not work satisfactorily - this was the only problem.
Otherwise excellent - there was access to the garden and breakfast was served accompanied by classical music and candlelight!

A family run bed and breakfast with a very spacious room and private bathroom just across the corridor. The location was excellent - literally five minutes' walk to the two main art musuems in Amsterdam and even less to one of the main canal cruise depots. There were also plenty of places to eat nearby, the park next door and the family invited us to sit in their garden which is a beautiful peaceful haven. The breakfast was generous and delicious and accompanied by classical music and candlelight. The whole family was very helpful answering our queries about sightseeing etc.

Better than expected. Clean, spacious, quiet and private. Mrs. Marrietta made home-made cookies for us and her son Ronald visited with us at breakfast until we had our bearings and made suggestions for making the most of our day.

If you get off the tram at the Leidesplein, you will have the best orientation to your location on the canal ring, Vondelpark, the performing arts theater, and the casino/canal, which even if you don't gamble is a lovely photo-op from the bridges. If you are busy looking for the later Hobbermastratt stop, and walk back to Vossiusstraat, you will walk a little less with luggage, but you may not realize this proximity to the canals right away.

Wonderfully located pied a terre near the Van Gogh and Rembrandt collections, the canal ring, trams, casino, VondelPark, which is like Central Park. Our big first floor room had wooden floors, wonderful old shuttered windows over a narrow residential street next to the park, but still quiet and private. There was a little fridge in the room and cable TV with a few stations in English. Lovely breakfast of ham, cheese, bacon, eggs, granola, coffee, tea, breads on pretty delft china in a rose garden with a lily pad pool. Half-bath (shower) was private, acorss the hall, but not in a traffic pattern; so we never saw anyone, and if we had, we would be in the inn's thickest bathrobes ever. Another superlative: Never did we have a more comfortable bed!

Lovely apartment with everything you require for a short break. Very spacious and spotless clean with a lovely view over Vondelpark. Only a few minutes walk from the nearest tram stop. This was my first trip to Amsterdam and my short stay was made all the better by the comfort and facilities in the apartment.

The hosts were wonderful. Breakfast in the garden was exceptional. There was quite a bit of noise from the street all hours of the night, but it didn't bother us. The room and bed were adequate. Be sure to ask Mariette about her experiences during WWII. She was a real pleasure to visit with.

Everything was excellent, we enjoyed our stay immensly and were treated very well. The owners went over and above what was listed by allowing us to use the washing machine and telephone.
We did, however, have an expectation of an en-suite bathroom. However, we had to walk across a landing to get to the bathroom. This wasn't a major issue though, just took some getting used to!

We had a fantastic stay at Vondelpark Museum B&B. The room was lovely and even equipped with a small fridge and microwave which were not expected but much appreciated. Breakfast was also great and Ronald was very helpful with tips and directions. We will definitely stay there again if we ever go back to Amsterdam.

We arrived later than expected and it was very hot for Amsterdam. They had someone very nice waiting for us. We asked for a fan since there was no AC and they provided it to us first thing next day, along with a plug converter that I had forgotten.

Sincerely nice people. Location was just perfect. Loved the breakfast food provided in the refrigerator. It can be loud at night with the windows open.

We had to take a taxi at 4:30 AM which they arranged for us. We forgot a bag upstairs when we were leaving and they were kind enough to open the door for us to go back in. And then they checked with the taxi company since the taxi was a bit late. It felt like they honestly cared for our safety.

Nice room perfect location, very friendly host. the only thing that was not optimal was the huge and somewhat noisy refrigerator (especiallyat night) - neither necessary nor pleasant to look at in an otherwise tasteful room.

For my wife and me it was a beautiful experience, and we will return in Amsterdam as soon as possible (preferably at the same hotel). The kindness of the Dutch and the beauty of Amsterdam impressed us, and even if we live in Brussels, I might say that Amsterdam is far more beautiful in every aspect. So, in conclusion, it was a great experience, WE LOVE YOUR COUNTRY, and we'll hope returning soon this time speaking not English but Dutch (we take Dutch lessons :)).
