Miro, the landlord was on hand in his shop, upon out arrival. We were a bit over the eta but he was waiting patiently for us. Our reception was very good, warm and friendly and he even carried one of our cases up the four flights of stairs.

Miro, was a great host. Any query we had was swiftly dealt with. He checked out things for us on the internet in the shop and was always on hand for local advice. The apartment itself is stunning! Cleanliness was top standard and the heating was brilliant, which given the weather that week, was a godsend, haha

On check out day, we were told to take our time. This was a nice gesture too, as there was a deficit between our check out and our flight home. Much appreciated.

If you're tempted to go for this apartment, GIVE IN! It's superb, to say the least. Location in in city centre with all facilities and attractions close by,the street below is vibrate and lively,great for people-watching. Miro, the host is warm and welcoming.The flat itself is hi-spec, spacious and stylish. All linen and towels were fresh and clean. There really are no negatives for this property. We will be returning again next autumn, I can think of no better home-from-home than this. Overall a resounding success.

check in was easy and Miro the owner supplied us quickly with the extra towels and a dvd player that we asked for.a real gentleman. no problems there.

we had a great time, everything is situated within walking distance. having the apartment gives you the freedom to enjoy as much or as little of Amsterdam as you'd like to.

if you can't find anything or think something is missing - talk to Miro. he lent us his own dvd player because there wasn't one in the apartment (due to an upgrade on the tv).how's that for service!!

The studio is excellent value for money, in a great location.It is basically furnished but very comfortable.The kitchenette is ok for drinks and cold snacks, but only has a microwave, kettle and fridge.With restaurants/shops on the doorstep this isn't a problem.The bathroom is more than adequate with a separate shower cubicle.
Miro the owner is a real gentleman and nothing is too much trouble.
We had a great time as usual in Amsterdam and finding this place really helped.
If you want the freedom to enjoy all things Amsterdam this place is hard to beat - having been to A'Dam at least once a year for the last ten years (house boats, hotels and apartments- yes we do feel qualified to say this!!)do yourself a favour- stop looking and book this place!!

The Stay Was Great, I Couldnt Be More Happy.
The Only Thing I Would Say Is... It Did Take Us A While To Find The Location.
It Would Be A Good Idea To Put The Appartment Is Above A Shop. And That There's A Sign With 12 Written Above It.
We Did Find It, But If We Knew To Look For That We Would Of Found It Sooner.

Could have done with a couple of little things in the apartment such as a bit more cuttlery and possibly a toaster (as I am English and like my toast).
I enjoyed my stay in the apartment and would definately use Ultraviolet Apartments again.

The apartment is ideally located right in the heart of the city, conveniently located for all major attractions.
The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Also the staff being there throughout the day is handy and gives an increases sense of security.

I have to say we had great experience staying in these studios. The location is in the heart of Amsterdam.
The owner of the studios was very accomidating and helpful. Gave us great tips on where to go.

Great feeling to the accomdation, as if were staying in our own apartment. Everythig we needeed available. Lovely spot as well with great access to all the city has to offer. Lovely views out the big windows of bustling market street

Really funky living space, staying at the studios feels like you are living in Amsterdam. For people that do not like the same same'hotel'experience. Miro the owner went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Offering us great insdider tips on the best Amsterdam has to offer.We will definitely be going back next time we are in the city.

Very busy street: positive or negative it depends on one's preferences.

The two-floor flat is very nice, but not very clean. Nice kitchen but not table and chairs.Hardly impossible to wash your face and hands in the basin, too small, water everywhere! The owner is very nice.

The rooms were similar to the web sites appearance. And all-in-all they were ok.
However, on the floor that my wife and I stayed there was no closet or shelves at all for clothing, no garbage cans, the microwave was so filthy that Miro came to clean it out.
The shower was an experience, no curtain or ledge and the water was all over.
It seemed to me that an additonal 100 Euro invested in the apartment would have solved all the problems!!

People should bring ear plugs (as we did) in order to sleep with the windows open.

Good location, but don't expect more than 1.5 stars, even though it is fairly expensive.

Street noise was expected, interiour noise level was completely unacceptable. Between 3 and 10 AM there was more noise than other times. Totally unacceptable noise from other occupants of building.

- Broken bathroom window had big hole in it.
- Shower leaked on to bathroom floor.
- Only 2 tiny towels were provided which
were more like hand towels and too small.
- The apartment was on an extremly noisey
street making it a very bad sleep for 2
nights.

was very hard to sleep and would only suit a
very heavy sleeper or drunk/drugged person
that could sleep through the noise. - the
noisey street should be more accurately
mentioned on website.
