  • At what time can we check-in and out?
    All accommodations, Check In from 2pm, Check Out before midday. Please let us know in advance what time you intend to check in.
  • Is the price per room/apartment or per person?
    Rates are per apartment.
  • Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast?
    No, it is not. It is a self-catering accommodation.
  • Is heating included in the price?
    Yes, it is.
  • Can we settle the bill on arrival?
    Yes, you can.
  • Which languages are spoken at the reception?
    Dutch, English, German, Spanish, Italian and French.
  • How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift) in the building?
    On the ground floor there is the host's boutique. On the 1st floor there is the "Dam1" studio. On the 2nd floor there is the "Dam2" studio. On floors 3rd and 4th there is the "Dam3" studio. Since the building is monumental (dating back to the 17th century) it is not possible to install an elevator.
  • Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
    Each studio is very comfortable and quiet.
  • Are linens and towels provided or do I need to bring my own?
    Yes, they are.
  • Do the rooms/apartments have a terrace/courtyard?
    No, they do not.
  • Do the rooms/apartments have a balcony?
    No, they do not.
  • Do you have non smoking rooms/apartments?
    Smoking is allowed.
  • Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite or cable TV)?
    Yes, each studio is equipped with cable TV with international channels.
  • Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments?
    No, there is not.
  • Is there air conditioning in the rooms/apartments? Is there any extra charge for this? Is it seasonal?
    No, there is not.
  • Is there a dining room where we could sometimes all dine together?
    No, there is not.
  • Do you have an Internet/E-Mail point in the Property?
    Yes, we do.
  • Is there a swimming pool? When is it open?
    No, there is not.
  • Is parking or garage available?
    No, it is not.
  • Where can we rent a car?
    In the neighbourhood.
  • Which is the nearest airport?
    Schiphol.
  • Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from and to the airport?
    No, we do not.
  • Which is the nearest bus-stop?
    "Dam" square.
  • Which is the nearest railway station?
    Central Station.
  • Which is the nearest / how far away is / how do we arrive from the canal bus stop?
    The nearest canal bus stop is at the back side of the Dam Palace.
  • Which is the nearest / how far away is / how do we arrive from the tram stop?
    "Dam" square.
  • Is there a fitness center in the Property (Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish bath...)?
    No, there is not.
  • Are pets welcome?
    No, they are not.
  • Is there a restaurant in the Property?
    No, there is not.
  • Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from my room/apartment?
    Yes, we have a wireless internet connection through all building.
