The place is spotlessly clean. The 2 rooms on the front have canal views but the one at ground level does have access straight from the street. The apartment at the rear is on two levels with a typical canal house steep stair. It is very spacious but the lower part, kitchen and bathroom do not have much natural light and there are no views from the upper part although there is a snmall balcony. The decoration is not to my taste but the furniture is new and comfortable. The kitchen is well equiped.

Our host was an absolute joy. Could not have asked for a better experience. Anies Phigeland was helpful in every way, very hospitable, friendly and generous with his time.
We (there were four of us) plan to stay at the Triple Five again, should we come back to Amsterdam.

Everything was wonderful except for the fact that the accommodation did not accept our credit card. I do wish that this was told to us before we arrived, since we were planning on putting it on our credit card. Ultimately, this did not prove to be a problem but it was an inconvienence.

Host carried our suitcases up to the second floor. Very much appreciated!

We would have liked top sheets on the bed (not just a quilt in a duvet) and a standard pillow with pillowcase instead of a pillow in a sham.

Host got us a reasonably priced cab and carried our suitcases to the curb.

The host stocked the little fridge with soda, water, and wine. We were also given plenty of coffee and chocolates to keep us fully charged for lots of walking.

A very comfortable room with a fantastic view of one of Amsterdam's most popular canals. The guesthouse was within walking distance of many tourist attractions.

In general, accomodations in Amsterdam are too expensive and therefore not good value for money. Most of the B&Bs do not offer breakfast that is included.
