Activities - Playing Golf in Amsterdam:
The exclusive
reputation golf used to have in Holland is fading. These days, courses
are crowded with players from all walks of life, especially at weekends.
A safety certification is required for professional courses, but
public courses are open to everyone, with many courses also offering
driving ranges. You can play at a private club if introduced by
a member, or if you belong to a British club; otherwise, there are
several public courses open to everyone. For details, see the Amsterdam

De Hoge Dijk
A public 18-hole polder course on the edge of Amsterdam. Reservations
are required.
