How To Reach Us

By plain:
From Schiphol Airport you can take the train to Central Station. Alternatively, you can take the Shiphol Shuttle connexion and get off at Nicolaas Witsen Hotel. The houseboat is right in front of it.

By train:
From Central Station, take tram numbers 16, 24 or 25 and get off at the 5th stop Weteringcircuit (Nw.Vijzelstraat).
Keep walking straight towards the Heineken Brouwerij and at the roundabout (there is a small park) turn left onto Weteringschans and immediately right onto Tweede Weteringplants. Walk on. The Nicolaas Witsenkade is the second street on the left. The houseboat is located opposite house no.17.

By car:
Follow the highway (A4) in the direction of Amsterdam. At the end of the A4 you will reach the Ring (A10) around Amsterdam. Here you take the exit S110 (Centrum). At the first set of traffic lights you continue straight on into the Rijnstraat. After approximately 800 meters the Rijnstraat becomes the Van Woustraat. Keep driving always straight and once you have crossed the Singelgracht Canal on Stadhouderskade the street changes into Westeinde (notice the Netherlands Bank on your right hand side). At the end of the street, before Frederiksplein, make a left onto Weteringschans and again a left onto Nicolaas Witsenstraat. Turn right and continue onto Den Texstraat for about 200 meters and make a left onto Tweede Weteringplantsoen. After few meters, at the end of the street, you'll reach Nicolaas Witsenkade and you'll find the houseboat opposite house no.17.
