 The hotel is located in the canal area, opposite a small park and next to a canal. It is a quiet street within easy reach of several tram stops. De Utrechtsestraat is just around the corner. This is a popular street with restaurants, bars and shops and has a pleasant mixture of Amsterdam residence, students, business people and tourists. On Rembrandtplain you will find nightclubs, bars, restaurants and coffeeshops. The Museums are within 15 minutes walking distance or 5 minutes by tram. The trams 6, 7 and 10 stop in front of the park (2 minutes walking distance) and bring you to the Museumplein and het Leidseplein (10 minutes by tram). Leidseplein is the other main square with nightclubs, bars, theatres and music venues (Paradiso and de Melkweg). The main shopping area can be reached by foot (15 minutes) or by tram (5 minutes. Tram number 4, which stops just around the corner). We are very close to circus theatre Carre (5 minutes walking) and de Magere Brug "skinny bridge". The red light district and the Dam can be reached by tram (tram 4, 10-15 minutes). |
