Staircases and bathrooms are very small. I was looking to stay in a canal style house but larger people, older people, or people that have trouble with stairs might not be OK.

accomadation was basic but comfortable,staff were friendly and very helpful,as we were leaving before breakfast they made up some sandwiches for us to keep us going,the room was clean,and the shower room and toilet were also kept clean.

My husband and I never seen any staff other then at the desk when we rang the bell to check in, and when we had to search someone out to check out. We didn't need anything special inbetween, but it would have been nice to see someone.

Quiet converted canal side house, basic but friendly. Close to Leidesplein where there is the theatres and there are plenty of bars & places to eat.Comfortable bed , plentiful Dutch breakfast available, dining room overlooks the canal. Staff all speak excellent English.

we had a very nice stay the couple who own it were very good to us and even went out there way to buy us in bacon and eggs .i would have no hesitation in booking there again and if you can pass a message on and tell them we were asking for them and we made it back to SCOTLAND in one piece.

Only concern was that despite the website saying payment upon arrival could be cash or credit card, the only option open to use was cash which but us at a disadvantage as we only had limited amount of money held on our persons at that time.

The fact that the upstairs bedrooms are accessible by very steep stairs. This would be an issue that disabled customers would need to know. Luckily for us, the double bedroom was situated on the ground floor, but if it was upstairs, that would have been a problem for my partner who is disabled and would not have been able to reach the room.

The owners were very friendly and gave us helpful advice, they allowed us to leave our suitcases at the hotel while we went out of Amsterdam for the weekend. The breakfast buffet was excellent. I would recommend the hotel as a good value budget hotel to any of my friends.

negative-the showers run out of hot water so most of the time you are standing under cold water. Also very noisy. We were located front part of hotel and all rowdy people walking past could be heard at 2-3am in the morning.

I thought the location of the hotel was brilliant - we had use of 2 showers but only one was in working order. This wasn't a problem though. The breakfast had a good selection of choice and the staff were friendly. The beds were OK but could probably do with new mattresses, could definitely use new pillows. I thought our rooms would be cleaned daily but they weren't. Rooms a decent size - would definitely go back because of location and price when travelling on a budget.

This hotel offers basic but good quality accomodation to a person who wishes to have comfort cheaply. Room was spacious. Toilets and showers on the corridors. Breakfast is better than continental style but not the 'full Irish'. This is made clear on the website. We had no negative experience. Go there!
