| | |  The Kooyk is a pleasant and friendly family-run hotel converted from a former canalside house of 19th century offering comfortable bedrooms.
This basic hotel is excellently situated next to the pretty Singel canal, just a short walk away from the lively Leidseplein and there are many cafes and international restaurants nearby. No lift, typical Amsterdam steep staircase.
The interior is homely but basic, and the decor is old-fashioned Dutch style. There is a tiny reception which leads to cosy breakfast room of dark wood. Definitely good for travelling on a budget. |
