We were very happy to receive such a nice service from the hotel. They got us a taxi waiting for us to arrive at the airport so it was very convenient for us to get to hotel.

Nice hotel. Very good location. Little noisy at night time - didn´t really bother us that much though. Nice staff. Good room. Simple breakfast, but it was sufficient for us. Very steep stairs.

I was given excellent directions from the airport via train/tram.

No elevator - although I think this is on the website. It should be noted that the stairs are rather narrow and steep so heavy luggage could be a challenge.

Great location, within walking distance to many city sights. My room was on the street side so when the windows were open it was rather noisy. However, when the windows are shut the noise is not noticable. Overall, my experience was satisfying, I would consider staying at Hotel Imperial again if I ever make it back to Amsterdam.

Rooms very clean & tidy.
Entance area needs refurbishment. It isnt to welcoming.

The hotel was expensive for the facilities available.
The staff were OK about letting us leave our baggage at the hotel on the last day as we had an evening flight home.

We should not have had to pay extra for coffee/tea facilities. They should have been included at the price.

A bit pricey for facilities available.
Good location.
Outside noise could be heard from our room at the front of the hotel despite good double glazing/sound proofing. However this did not affect our quality of stay.
In fact we stayed an extra night.

The linking from the airport to the Central Station is quick and frequent.
A bit of difficulty with the 'strippenkart' system but nothing wrong with the rest.

The receptionist was kind and the hotel clean. We have spent very confortable and relaxing days in it.

I suggest to put in every room the hairdryer, the necessair to prepare a cup of tea, and something to write down things (paper and a pen with the address of the hotel on it).

My room was at the top of the property and there were three fairly steep flights of spiral staircase. It didn't worry me but some people may have struggled and I don't think that there was a lift. This isn't a complaint...purely an observation!

Room beautifully decorated and furnished. Excellent location for exploring the city. Not quiet, as in the centre of an area of bars and clubs, but hey, who goes to Amsterdam to sleep????

Very small street frontage to the Hotel.
Very secure entrance, this was a good feeling. Apearance once through the door heading to the second floor reception is not hte best. The carpet was very worn, some place it was worn right through.
The reception area was great and the room wonderful. Everyone was super. The only detraction was the entrance stairs.

This hotel was our favourite hotel during our trip to Europe - it was beautifully decorated. The care that was taken in decorating every inch of the room was remarkable.

The only negative thing I could say about Hotel Imperial is the noise from the square. The hotel has installed special windows to drown out this noise - and they do an excellent job of this. It's just that sometimes we got warm and wanted the windows open. But even at 5am, the partiers were still going outside!

We were extremely satisfied with our stay at Hotel Imperial. The owners were very friendly, helpful and accomodating. The rooms, as well as the rest of the hotel were imacculate and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was also a great way to start the day with a wide variety of simple breakfast foods and a wonderful ambience.

The only problem was the noise from the restaurants located downstairs. We had a room facing the street(park) and because of the heat we had to keep our windows open and it was terribly noisy until about 3 or 4 in the morning. However, that was not the fault of the hotel. It would have been nice to have had air conditioning:) However, everything else was great. The hotel was immaculate and the people very friendly and we had a great time in Amsterdam.

From the outside the hotel don't seem a good one, but the rooms are confortable and very cleaned, exactly as you see on the website!!!! Prices are very good compared to the services. Nice quiet hotel on Rembrandtplein. A big bonus for us was that this was truly a non-smoking hotel -- a rarity it seems for Amsterdam. The rooms were clean and cheery and the staff helpful.

They really helped called a cab so that we didn't have all the bags to get on and off the tram and train.

People that have a hard time with stairs should know ahead of time the stairs are steep. People should be made aware of the front rooms the windows need to be closed and the drapes closed. This was a very clean and nice place to stay and I would stay there again. Thanks

The place is great and clean. If you are unable to climb 2 flights of steep steps this would unfortunately for you be the wrong place to choose... we however were really satisfied with the hospitality and the cleanliness of our rooms.
