Hotel Features. The hotel occupies a four- storey building, built in 1911 in typical Amsterdam style. The smart tiled lobby features complimentary newspapers and flight-departure screens.
The Hotel Amsterdam is famous for its De Roode Leeuw Restaurant, a historic, wood-beamed eatery, decorated in traditional style with Dutch antiques. It serves regional cuisine from all over Holland, French specialities and wild game in the winter. There's a complimentary welcome cocktail for hotel guests.
