Location. The historic Hotel Amsterdam - De Roode Leeuw is located in the centre of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. It's one block to busy Dam Square and two blocks to the Royal Palace. Centraal Station is less than half a kilometre away. Hotel Features. The hotel occupies a four- storey building, built in 1911 in typical Amsterdam style. The Hotel Amsterdam is famous for its De Roode Leeuw Restaurant, a historic, wood-beamed eatery, decorated in traditional style with Dutch antiques.
