 Amsterdam has a lot to offer for shopping enthousiasts. Starting at the hotel you can walk through the shoppingstreet, the PC Hooftstraat, across the Max Euweplein to the Leidsetraat from where you can shop till the Central Station. At the end of the day you can choose from dozens of cosy restaurants for a nice dinner, or you could have a romantic dinner or candlelight cruise across the magnificently lighted Amsterdam canals.
If you come to Amsterdam for business, Hotel Europa 92 is perfect aswell. The convention center of Amsterdam, the RAI, the Beurs van Berlage, at the Beursplein, are only 10 minutes away. After a long day you can relax in one of the many pubs at the Leidseplein, or you can enjoy the peace and quiet of our grand yard, you won't even notice the city anymore. To get your mind of things, you could also decide to visit The cinema in Amsterdam at the Leidseplein, the 'City Theater'!
We haven't forgotten about children either, there is plenty for them to enjoy in this beautiful city. For educational benefits you can visit the Anne Frank-house or the Maritime museum with its worldfamous ship 'The Amsterdam'. It's also a good idea to spend an afternoon in the Golden age or between the celebrities at Madam Toussaud. The New Metropolis Technology Center, next to the Central Station, is very interesting aswell. Children can play and learn here all day long doing chemistry test with water, light, wind and computers. And for the real daredevils there is the possibility to go bungy jumping or wall climbing behind the Central Station. |
