Extremely steep stairs - a bit worrying for small children.

It was really different. It was in an interesting and fun part of town -- full of character. Only two blocks from the red light district, which made it fun to go people watching in the evenings.

Our flight was delayed two hours and upon arrival Emmet was there ready to show us around and take the time to explain evereything and answer ALL our questions (even at 9.30 on a friday night) The thing you will find with the escape team is that you can ask them anything. Always handy in the office below always ready and willing to help. Genuinely nice people who are suited to the buisness.

Perfect balance of apartment privacy with hotel service features! Odd requests? No problem. Simple stuff like fresh towels - instantly! Nice wooden box of Twinings tea's to try, coffee machine, PS2 (with GREAT games, no rubbish!) video's, DVD's. BIG TV. F A S T internet connected PC in room (no need for laptop) Beer, various soft drinks, snacks already in the fridge. You will want fo nothing! And if you do just ask the guys! I really am a fan of this kind of 'everything you need' apartment holiday!

Checking out is a breeze also, the room was booked on the day of our departure, but we were assured we could leave our bags until we left for our flight, i read elsewhere that a group in another aparment were allowed to stay until 9pm!!! (obviously the property wasn't booked that day) The team at Amsterdam Escape will see you right don't worry!!!!

It's the attention to detail that sets Amsterdam Escape apart from the pack - and in giving away those secrets (and there are a few) i feel i would spoil it for other visitors!! So i won't.

A brilliant apartment with everything you could possibly want mere seconds away, and i mean seconds! open the door and the Nieumarkt has everything you need right there, nothing can prepare the first time visitor to amsterdam for the beautiful location - exquisite buildings surround you, should you need to ESCAPE the city streets simply retreat inside and watch through the window in the Hammock Chair at the canal below. Perfect.

It was wonderful! Brendan met us and took us to our flat and he even carried her huge suitcase up the two flights of stairs. It was a gorgeous flat and we loved the purple door and coordinating color schemes.

We can't wait to go back and stay there again. We've totally recommended it to our friends!

Dude, it was awesome! You should have seen the purple door and the little kitchen area and man, the 'living' room was totally set up to live in, for anybody. They had video games and movies as well as books and other essential items. We didn't have to ask for anything, it was all there waiting for us. And the bedroom area, what a nice surprise that was. We didn't want to leave. We'll definitely be staying there again when we go back!
