In the formerly warehouse 'De Prins', dated from 1737, the restaurant 'The Prinsenkelder' offers an excellent international cuisine. Opened for dinner only, closed on Sunday and Monday, the Prinsenkelder has been a favourite dining-place in Amsterdam for the last forty years.
The restaurant is situated in a cosy informal cellar of an 18th-century former warehouse and was founded by the famous Dutch gourmets Dikker & Thijs in the twenties. |

The Dikker & Thijs Fenice Hotel is located in the middle of the main shopping area. Within walking distance you will find the 'Spiegelstraat', an historical neighbourhood with over seventy specialised shops with a wide variety of art and antiques, and around the corner on the Leidseplein you can find a lot of bars and restaurants open until late at night.
