The breakfast was very convenient every morning. We always had clean towels. It was a pleasure to stay there. The only thing I would have liked to have more access to was the Internet. It was not operational most of the time, although there were 2 computers to use at all times. They use a Wi-Fi configuration that connects to the MacHouse across the street - very unreliable. Yet, I would highly recommend this hotel for any weary traveler. ... They actually upgraded our room to one with a balcony for the last night we were there for no extra charge. ... small cozy rooms with daily attention from the staff for clean towels. Great breakfast every morning. Close to tram stops and The Dam. Nestled in the Jordaan area where there so many great shops and places to eat. Can't be beat.

Very helpful staff, no problem with additional questions unrelated to our accommodation. It was very relaxing ... Staff were extremely efficient about cleaning the rooms and maintaining the hotel. ... Can't remember if you say it's not suitable for disabled, due to the number and height of stairs. ... Very comfortable, clean hotel central to all the major tourist spots. It's also very quiet, which you don't expect from such a central location.

The two flight, narrow staircase came as a bit of a surprise, but we were helped up with our luggage. For older or somewhat handicapped people that would be a problem. ... It was a very tight hotel with small rooms, but everything was clean. The included breakfast was nice, and the location was very good in relation to the downtown.

The people are wonderfull (crew) and the place is very nice only the breakfast was a little bit poor...(cornflakes,eggs,butter,confiture,one kind of cheese, bread ,tea and coffee),but in general I would absolutely recomend to my friend to stay at hotel di-ann .

Nice place, right in the city center. Steep stairs, beware of that if your carrying a lot of luggage, no elevators!
... Thought the room was gonna be bigger. Can't complain though of the nice terrace, though it would have been even better if our visit was in the summer rather than in the middle of december. ... The steep staircase. Older people would find it difficult to get there with their luggage. ... Nice and centric place. Optional terrace.

The staff was very polite, they even brought us tea bags, espresso, chocolate, cups and a kettle in order for us to make some coffee! ... Though the staff was very polite and helpful, the cleanliness was very very poor. The room was so tiny(though it looked different on the web site) you had to sit onto your bed in order for the other person to walk around the area.(One person at a time). Moreover, they never changed our towels nor our sheets (and imagine we stayed there for a week!)and apart from that we found 'cigarettes' under our beds which means they didn't even bother to use the vacuum. ... Nice breakfast room ... Very polite staff, quiet but very tiny rooms, LACK OF CLEANLINESS, step stairs. Not worth its money but it's very close to the centre.

Even though we'd been told of the stair issue we were shocked. ... The picture is what it is but is deceiving. It wasn't nearly as nice as the photo. ... If all you care of is location, it's for you. Loved the cat, the dinning room was nice. The stairs were awful. The tram/train noise at night was awful (we were in a street side room). ... You need to stress how small it is and the stair issue. ... It was so small no one could get past another person to go anywhere in the room. The stairs are straight up as soon as you open the door to go in. The shower is so small it hits you when you're in the shower. The bathroom is so small, your knees hit the wall when sitting on the toilet. If all you care about is location, it is good. If you care about where you sleep, don't stay.

There were a lot of stairs! For elderly people (which we are not) it might be important to advise them that there are a lot of steep stairs. ... see above (e.g stairs) ... It was nice, but at breakfast be careful you might not be able to find a knife (but the other side of the fork works well to spread butter!) Do not forget to bring your shampoo...
