The housekeeping could have been better attended to, i.e., bulbs in at least three of the lamps/mainlights were out when we arrived. It was more of an inconvenience than a problem!!

The property wasn't bad. But the pictures I saw online were a bit better than the room we received. Keep in mind I am from the U.S., so I am used to larger rooms in hotels. Generally the room was good and I would stay again if/when I return to Amsterdam.

I was very disappointed with the hotel and what we paid. The room was extremely small and most of the time had no hot water.The only thing that made the stay worth while was your staff, they were very helpful and extremely polite.

A closet with a bed and no hot water ...oh and mold in the showers.....for that money we could have stayed at the Sheraton

The best location near to Central Train Station, small, there is a restaurant together with the reception,it isnīt a nice hotel to stay more than 2-3 days.

Both of the rooms we had for our party were big but in great need of redecoration or a good clean especialy the stains on the walls. As we were on the first floor there was alot of noise from the street as we had no air conditioning there was no option but to have the windows open as the heating would not turn off.

The hotel was ok, but was a bit less than I might have expected of a three star hotel. The room was small and rather spartan. Prior to the Damrak, I had stayed in a two star Paris hotel which was nicer and cheaper.

The web site described the hotel as being across from the train station. This is not quite correct, as the hotel does not face the train station, but rather is about 100 meters up a street which runs perpendicular to the train station. This should be made more clear.

I don't recall that the website mentioned that breakfast was included in the room rental. It was a pleasant surprise!

A better map or directions would be useful. It wasn't too hard to find but we did need to ask for directions.
