Al nostro arrivo siamo stati ospitati con molto garbo e gentilezza; purtroppo non ricordo il nome, ma ringraziamo colei che era alla reception.

La nostra permanenza è andata molto bene.
La camera era calda, accogliente e pulita;
rispecchiava in tutto ciò che ci aspettavamo.
La colazione era completa e sinceramente ottima!!

A malincuore abbiamo lasciato la città e l'hotel; ed anche all'uscita è andato tutto bene: la cordialità e la disponibilità è di casa.

E' davvero un hotel confortevole e conveniente. Abbastanza centrale, con tutte le comodità necessarie. A pochi passi c'è la fermata del tram, ma bastano solo 10 minuti a piedi per arrivare a Leidspleane.
L'hotel è accogliente e c'è la possibilità di fare una squisita colazione.
In più i prezzi sono molto accessibili,anche in alta stagione, io ci sono stata per Capodanno e vi assicuro che di meglio non potevamo trovare!!Ve lo consiglio!!

the bed was the only thing i wished there was a full bed not split but i know that is standard for europe and it was a bit soft. other than that i was pleased.

i think it was clear. i knew how to get there by tram as needed and it was located near tourists area.

The hotel was in a good location, quiet, clean, staff were very nice and it was nice to have breakfast offered in the mornings.

No non smoking rooms so room smelled slightly. However it was a very quiet street which is what we had asked for.

Quiet, reasonably priced, easy reach of the museums and an easy bus ride into town.

Very steep stairs, the lift is absolutely necessary. The breakfast was very good and the staff always helpful.

Well, it does not regard the hotel; but maybe you should know it. The shuttle (Conexxion) we took at the airport didn't have air condition (or it wasn't on). It was very hot, even hotter due to the materials of the seats (perfect for winter but not for summer, unless you have air condition.) My father suffered a convulsion due to the high temperature. For him,it was too much. That's all. Please, turn the air condition on, next time. Thank you!

Let me see if I can explain it: the upper mattresses of the twin beds seemed to be bigger than the lower mattresses. As a result, if you sit on the edge of the bed, you slide down. And if you were sleeping and rolled over to the edge... you could easily fall out of the bed. It happened to my father (75 years old) on the first night. So, we exchanged beds and he took the third one, the one hidden on the wall. And he slept peacefully!
Maybe this is not important, maybe it has to do with the way my father sleeps, I don't know.
And, of course, it's not a complain. Absolutely! We were very happy there, and I let the staff know when we left.
You know,when I was making up my mind, I had another choice, suggested also by you: the Vijaya Hotel. We visited this hotel and we think that ours, the Asterisk Hotel, was the right choice for us.
Thank you for your services! I've been several times in Amsterdam. Once, I was at De Stadhouder Hotel (close to the Asterisk) and also at the Rokin Hotel. But it was many years ago and I didn't considered them because I remember they didn't have elevator (or at least I never saw it when I was there). This is the reason why I didn't book with any of them and looked for another option through you.
You didn't expected so much writing, did you? I'm sorry. I wanted to share with you my ideas. Thank you again!

The 'fair value for money' regards to the fact that for us, coming from Central America, it's too expensive to pay your fares in Euros. But that's the way it is!

Oh, yes! You should include that the machine for beverages (right at the entrance) is OUT of order. From what I read, I understood that we could have a cup of coffee in the evening, because there were facilities. Once there, I discovered that the machine was not working.

As it is: a place with family atmosphere where you feel at ease and safe.

The direcions were good enought, but we turned just after a bridge (and later we found that we had to go straight forward to another cross).
