  • At what time can we check-in and out?
    Check-in: from 2:00 pm.
    Check-out: before 11:00 am.
  • Is the price per room/apartment or per person?
    Our prices are per room.
  • Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast?
    If you pay by cash we offer you a free Continental breakfast buffet.
  • Can we settle the bill on arrival?
    We prefer you to settle the bill on arrival.
  • Which languages are spoken at the reception?
    At reception, Dutch, English, German, French and a little Spanish are spoken.
  • How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift) in the building?
    The building has 3 floors and the main building has an elevator (lift).
  • Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
    All our rooms are very guiet, our elevator is romantic and some of our rooms have originally ornamented ceilings.
  • Do the rooms/apartments have a terrace/courtyard?
    The rooms do not have a terrace/courtyard.
  • Do the rooms/apartments have a balcony?
    Some rooms have a balcony over the backyard.
  • Do you have non smoking rooms/apartments?
    We do not have non smoking rooms. During breakfast it is not allowed to smoke in the breakfast room.
  • Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite or cable TV)?
    All rooms have a cable colour television. We also have a television in our lounge.
  • Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments?
    All our rooms have direct dialling telephones.
  • Is there air conditioning in the rooms/apartments? Is there any extra charge for this? Is it seasonal?
    We do not have air conditioning.
  • Do you have an Internet/E-Mail point in the Property?
    We have an internet terminal for our guests in the reception area.
  • Is there a swimming pool? When is it open?
    There is no swimming pool (nearest public swimming pool is 5 min walking distance).
  • Is parking or garage available?
    In our steet there is always space to park your car, which is exceptional in the center of Amsterdam. However, you must pay a parking fee. At reception we sell parking tickets.
  • Where can we rent a car?
    You can rent a car at Schiphol or at Stadhouderskade (5 min. walk) but you will not need a car in Amsterdam, public transport is of very high level.
  • Which is the nearest airport?
    The nearst airport is Schiphol.
  • Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from and to the airport?
    From Schiphol Airport you can take the Connexxion Airport Hotel Shuttle directly to the Asterisk hotel.
  • Which is the nearest bus-stop?
    The nearest tram-stop is Wetering circuit.
  • Which is the nearest railway station?
    The nearest railway station is Central Station.
  • Which is the nearest / how far away is / how do we arrive from the canal bus stop?
    The nearest canal bus stop is Rijksmuseum.
  • Which is the nearest / how far away is / how do we arrive from the tram stop?
    The nearest tram stop is just around the corner (Wetering circuit).
  • Is there a fitness center in the Property (Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish bath...)?
    We do not have a fitness center.
  • Are pets welcome?
    Pets are not welcome, with some exceptions. Please contact the owner regarding bringing your pets.
  • Is there a restaurant in the Property?
    There is no restaurant in our hotel, but only 2 minutes walking distance you will find all kinds of restaurants. We do have some snacks and drinks.
  • Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from my room/apartment?
    You cannot connect your modem from your room but you can use our internet terminal.
