Our Bed and Breakfast is
located is in the souterrain of a luxurious restored building from the 17th century in the middle of the historical centre of Amsterdam. The small lion heads that decorate the roof facade of the house are the silent witnesses of many centuries.

On a short walking distance you find many places of interest: the canals, Anne Frank House, the Royal Palace on Dam Square, Madame Tussaud's, the Old Harbour, the 17th century Jordaan district, the famous markets (each Saturday and Monday), the historical VOC-building, the Posthorn Church and the Wester Church (where Rembrandt was buried), the small art deco Movies film theatre, and many more.

In the village-like area you find many shops, boutiques, food shops, galleries, restaurants and authentic café's. A more extravagant way to see Amsterdam and its many places of interest is to take the watertaxi/museumboat on the corner of the building which will take you to all the museum and high lights of the city. Just in front of our Bed and Breakfast you can also take the Opstapper, a small bus on which you can hop on&off at any requested spot, like the Anne Frank House or Rijksmuseum.
